MR YANKEY

With a background as an assistant director, throughout his career, Mr Yankey has work alongside talents such as Gus Van Sant, Tom Hooper, Nicolas Winding Refn, Daniel Wolfe and Matthew Vaughn; all of which have acted as a strong foundation in his education of film-making. Surreal and abstract in nature, Mr Yankey’s personality bleeds into his storytelling, which although exuberant, mischievous and bizarre, can often bare an emotive tone, tackling matters of personal importance; mental health, social perception & environmental issues, through bold colour palettes and his knack for technical filmmaking. Mr Yankey’s work predominantly resides in collaborations with musicians; drawing direct influence from their compositions to create bespoke visuals, which directly complements the artists' work.
