Known for her intimate approach on set, Julia Rogowska likes to be close to the action. Since winning the Papaya Young Directors Contest in 2015, she has refined her humourous, often surreal style to create stories that continually surprise and delight in every frame. With a vivid use of colour and VFX, her imaginative approach has seen her create award-winning work for Mercedes-Benz, Samsung and McDonald’s, with her film for AXA’s ‘Smart Bell’ Campaign winning Silver and Bronze at the 2017 Cannes Lions.
